Finally last week I picked, cooked and ate some of our beets. My hubby had the misfortune to be raised without a proper appreciation for beets and so...all the more for me. Yum!

Those are some beautiful beets! Mine are only an inch out of the ground...sigh...maybe next year.
I love beets. Mine are not big at all yet! Yum.
