We have been off and on with the yogurt making around here. I started
making it again last year because I wanted to avoid plastic containers. I made a new batch yesterday and this morning we had it with our frozen blueberries (blended up with a dash of maple syrup, a bit of vanilla and a hint of cinnamon) and our homemade granola.

All I can say is...yum. And, that we better plant even more blueberry bushes this year.

That looks delicious. That very breakfast is a staple in our house. Perhaps I need to try homemade yogurt. Does it thicken up when you make it like that?
Hi Heather, your yogurt looks great, my mum used to make it when I was a kid. I have similar every morning, with muesli in. When I was at work they used to call it 'wallpaper' paste, where I would mix it all in together, but tastes lovely. x
It is fairly thick, Amanda. Not as thick as some of the store-bought kind that have gelatin in them, but I would say it is definitely yougurt thickness. ;-)
It does taste lovely, Louise, especially with our frozen fruit. I freeze all the fruit that we grow and pick in the Summer so that we can use it all Winter.
