Nettle Seed and Nettle Salt

Most anyone who knows me knows what a huge lover of Nettle I am.  (Oh, yes, I can hear you all now...enough with the nettle already) ;-)  But, I just can't help myself, I love it that much.  So now I am taking the time to learn more about Nettle seed.  I collected a bunch last week.  Dried them and put some in a jar for later use.

And then took some and grinded it into a fine powder and then ground it with sea salt.

Now I've got my own little jar of Nettle salt.

Very nice!
I'll never tire of hearing about nettles. I've got to check my patch myself to see if the seeds are ready.

Well, I'm convinced. If I don't find any growing around the place on it's own, I'll have to find a place for it in my herb garden plans.
