Handmade gifts

My husband and I have always made most of the gifts that we give. We love coming up with new ideas each year. This year it has been fun to see the boys taking on more of the responsibility for coming up with their gift own ideas. They both love gift making and have been busy making things this past week.

W made this (with help from Dad) after seeing the idea in a tinwork book that he was reading. It is made out of sardine cans (our cat eats a lot of sardine). It turned out really well and I think a few more people on his list will be receiving one as well.

After all, who doesn't like to have a special spot to store their favourite little things?
