You do a wonderful job parenting, Heather. You have certainly given your sons good childhood memories and a mindfulness as well, while balancing tradition with simplicity. The girls seemed to have just as much fun and I didn't have to get frustrated trying to cut it out and put it together (precision is not one of my strengths!). The last couple of years we've done sugar cube castles, which are also easy and look so pretty with a candle inside.

JulieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3559352152168236450.post-61755252041871334562011-12-20T05:58:57.400-08:002011-12-20T05:58:57.400-08:00simple really is the valuable choice isn't it!...simple really is the valuable choice isn't it! blest be ... :)donna!eehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08989639512012309974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3559352152168236450.post-11712033258143436162011-12-20T01:16:28.998-08:002011-12-20T01:16:28.998-08:00Wow, that last picture is amazing!

I've bought the ones at Costco for the last 2 years...9.99 and it's already all stuck together. The kids can gather round the table and just decorate without the frustration of having to wait for the icing holding the walls/roof together to dry. I can sit back with a cup of tea and simply enjoy watching them have fun!Honey and Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12855946783982835986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3559352152168236450.post-16046409821694176272011-12-19T16:39:53.545-08:002011-12-19T16:39:53.545-08:00What a perfect compromise. What a perfect compromise.daisy ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06129079277073067462noreply@blogger.com
